The problem it solves

Many people own a Rubik’s cube; few know how to solve it. Guides online use confusing notation. This app turns your cube’s layout into a clear sequence of moves, one turn at a time.

What it can do

  • Enter the colors of each face by tapping squares, directly on a 3D cube you can rotate or on a flat map.
  • Get step-by-step guidance, from the first layer to the finish.
  • Follow animated turns: forward, back, repeat, and adjustable speed.
  • The app tells you when a color layout is impossible, and why.
  • Try it without a physical cube using a random example.
  • Choose the color scheme you are used to (international or Japanese; black, white, or stickerless body).
  • Still works without internet once installed.

Your data stays on your device

There is no account and no data is sent to a server. Everything runs on your device.

How to try it

The web version can be tried right on this page, or opened full screen.

Under consideration

Other cube sizes, color scanning with the camera, and a practice timer.
